At our Antwerp office, you will join a small team within a large international company, but we safeguard a very personal approach. We work with a multi-disciplined team of highly skilled colleagues and are now looking for a Business Interruption Expert to join our business (we are also looking for a Liability Expert and Property Expert as well as Marine Surveyor). Sedgwick is a leading global provider of integrated business solutions around claims and risk management across a wide range of industries. Our 33,000 colleagues, spread across 65 countries, provide services to insurers, brokers, international companies and employers. Carry out damage assessments As a damage expert, you will independently carry out (complex) damage assessments within a multidisciplinary team of experts.  You will be deployed for damage assessments in Belgium. Sporadically, you may have to travel abroad for international damage cases. Are you an experienced claims handler? You have several years of experience in claims handling, either at a claims office or in the insurance industry. This experience may have been gained in the field, but also as an in-house complex claims handler. In addition, you possess: A finance master’s or bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent through experience. Perfect knowledge of Dutch, a very good knowledge of English and a good knowledge of French – and a good communicator. You are in possession of driving license B. You are analytical and sociable with commercial insight & compromise. You are flexible with a driven & proactive mindset. Oh, and if you are also  eager to learn, then this opportunity is for you!
