The Team and Role: We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Cloud Service and Application Development team under Digital Office. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing our ecosystems across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sustainability and so on, to produce high-quality solutions that meet the business objectives and success in the journey of digital transformation. In this role you will: - Design and develop robust backend platforms, including cloud service, event streaming, data storage and so on, that translate business requirements into scalable solutions. - Take ownership from concept to deployment, prioritizing implementation, troubleshooting and enhancements. - Collaborate with the development team (designers, frontend, database, and devops engineers) for solution delivery and optimization. - Ensure service continuity through automated testing, monitoring, and proactive performance optimization. Key Qualifications : For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: • 3+ years of experience in building Java Spring Boot applications • 3+ years of experience in NoSQL (MongoDB is preferred) and SQL • Familiarity with Linux based operating systems. • Knowledge and experience of RESTful API design and data modeling • Experience with Amazon Web Services • Experience in source control system (git) • Knowledge of networking and computer resource management. In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include • Experience with Apache Kafka or MQTT • Knowledge of agile methodology • Familiarity with standard security practices and web standards • Experience in Jenkins pipeline • Experience with monitoring tools (ELK, grafana…) Education • B.S or M.S. degree in computer science or a related field #LI-AL2/104 Across Logitech we empower collaboration and foster play.
