Our Donegal Town facility is a key part of our Diabetes Care division, manufacturing FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and sensors used in diabetes management. What You’ll Do As the Lead, you’ll manage a team of operators and oversee day-to-day production activities while championing smart manufacturing practices. You’ll build strong relationships, foster collaboration, and drive results through your team. Key Responsibilities: Lead with empathy and authority, building rapport and trust across your team. Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues using data-driven insights and digital tools. Maintain accurate records in line with SOPs and digital compliance systems. Recommend equipment and system improvements aligned with Industry 4.0 principles. Ensure training compliance through digital learning platforms and ISO standards. Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using real-time data and analytics. Coach and mentor team members, conducting performance reviews with a focus on growth and digital skill development. Promote 6S standards and a safe, productive work environment enhanced by smart technologies. Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies, leveraging digital reporting and monitoring systems. What We’re Looking For Qualifications & Experience: Third-level qualification or trade certificate in Engineering, Science, or Manufacturing. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment. Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering. Familiarity with digital manufacturing systems, automation, and data analytics is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage teams.
