Why This Role Matters As a Market Access Specialist , you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring patients have access to life-changing therapies. Your expertise will influence strategic decisions, shape market access and reimbursement strategies, and help position Abbott as a trusted partner in the Italian healthcare system. What You’ll Do Monitor the national and regional healthcare system laws in order to support the market access strategy definition Show the Value: Assess the economic and organizational impact of Abbott cardiovascular therapies in order to support patients’ access to cost-effective care in Italy Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing and clinical research teams to develop product’s value messages Support Business strategies: develop economic tools and cost analysis to support local business priorities What We’re Looking For Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (Master’s preferred). Experience: Proven track record in market access, health economics, pricing, or reimbursement within pharma, biotech, or medical devices sector. Skills: Strong analytical and research capabilities Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in economic analysis Knowledge of the Italian healthcare system and regulatory landscape Languages: Fluency in Italian and English.
