The Opportunity This position works out of our St Paul, MN location in the Electrophysiology Medical Device division.   In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. We’re seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. Primary responsibilities for this role include supporting our EP Capital & Technical Services organization & Minnesota Facilities. You will assist in the development of the process for managing our Capital inventory. You will also assist in the further development of the Capital Service P&L. In addition, you will support the Capital Services & facilities teams by providing month-end reporting and analysis, as well as providing updates for each budget cycle, and any ad hoc analysis requested from leadership. You will have an intimate understanding of the activity and variances being produced and be able to speak knowledgably when answering questions from leadership. You will also be responsible for preparing financial presentation content for executive meetings, participate in various projects or tasks, assist with monthly financial closing activities, as well as preparing financial models, and presentations supporting the quarterly LBE (latest best estimate) forecasting cycles. What You'll Work On: Budgeting and forecasting, profit and loss, market modeling, sales analysis, business development, gross margin, capital, exchange, headcount and other facets of the complete P&L. Participates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance management. Provides routine reports to leadership. Partners with key geographies to consolidate month-end analysis and commentary related to the financial close cycle. Executes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance team. Prepares consolidated reporting, presentations, and analysis. Complies with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees and business customers. Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
