Title and Summary Director, Software Engineering Lead Software Engineer Mastercard is a global technology company behind the world’s fastest payments processing network. This position is for AI/ML product Engineering team. AI/ML Product engineering team leads enterprise AI/ML deployments across Mastercard platforms. The team is responsible for planning the implementation of solutions, choosing the right technologies, and evaluating the evolution of the architecture as the needs change. For this team, Mastercard is seeking a Lead Engineer who is passionate about implementation of AI/ML assets across platform (on premise, on cloud, hybrid). The person would be working closely with Cyber and Business Intelligence business units. Responsibilities - • Responsible for modern architecture-based deployment for AI/Machine Learning solutions, products. • Leading technical discussions with other engineering teams and partners across organization, cross functions to design quality architecture for AI/ML model deployments or serving. • Define deployment strategy and infrastructure for models and be responsible to ensure model development is deployable at scale. • Leading development of scalable AI/ML products for markets. Experiences - • Hands on experience with Spring Boot based application development & deployment • Hands on experience with webservices & REST API development, data access patterns using Java Technologies and frameworks • Good working knowledge on Multithreading & Concurrency • Must have project experience using Microservices architecture • Good to have working knowledge of Kubernetes based products and applications • Good working knowledge of NoSQL DB - Cassandra preferably / MongoDB • Good understanding of application HA, load balancing & reliability understanding of Application software architecture • Nice to have some development experience in Python based AI/ML workloads • Proficiency with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology) micro-service design, CI/CD, DevOps • Excellent communication/presentation skills Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
