Title and Summary Senior Technician, Operations Command Centre Overview • Monitors the Mastercard networking environments to ensure a consistently high level of service at all times to meet established SLA's • Troubleshoots and resolves issues Responsibilities • Monitors service levels, networking equipment and software • Clarifies common customer problems and provides resolution for simple system failures or degradations according to standard protocols • Performs standard testing and analysis of all elements of the network and data center facilities • Monitors and takes corrective actions for problems as they arise to minimizing customer impact • Creates and/or updates internal tickets to document monitoring and recovery steps Experiences • Demonstrates understanding of procedures and protocols, resolving basic issues to ensure alignment with protocols • Experience monitoring and taking corrective action for basic problems • Gains experience updating internal tickets to document monitoring and recovery steps Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
