Title and Summary Director, Account Management Director, Account Management, Community Institutions Our North America Client Sales organization is seeking to build a diverse strategic and consultative workforce of world-class relationship managers, problem-solvers and technologists. The Community Institutions sales team focuses on the delivery of customized payment solutions and comprehensive consulting support, while leveraging Mastercard’s strong brand, technology, operations and risk platforms to deliver bottom line results to Mastercard’s Strategic Partners. This includes optimizing existing volume and growing net new volume through selling Value Added Services to Mastercard Strategic Partners. • Have you ever proactively identified and solved complex problems that impact management, relationship and direction of the business? • Have you ever prepared proposals, RFP’s, and negotiate contractual relationships with various internal and external stakeholders? • Are you motivated to be a part of driving a world beyond cash? The Role • Develop deep relationships with Community Institutions customers across multiple product lines and management levels. • Understand customers’ business objectives and goals, while identifying pain points. Develop and implement account plans to address with Mastercard products and solutions. • Build and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally, working closely with a diverse and cross-functional team to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within a client. • Negotiate, execute and manage customer contract agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing. • Identify and develop new business opportunities that provide the best potential for future business growth, an appreciable return on financial investments • Provide consultative industry and Mastercard insights in alignment with segment specialty All About You • Outstanding ability to manage and grow internal and external cross functional relationships and partnerships with executives at all levels • Sound business judgment with established strategic and conceptual thinking and planning skills • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing complex, competitive sales effort and project management • Excellent strategic thinking with strong analysis skills with a proven track record of creating solutions that increase revenue • Self-starter who is highly organized, collaborative and results driven Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
