Working cross functionally, the role holder will act as the liaison point between the Product teams, Technical teams, and the Compliance Leadership Group. This role will be responsible for: • Assessing new products or product enhancements and identifying the inherent financial crime risks. • Completing and maintaining the required risk assessments for new products and enhancements. • Providing input into Financial Crime policy development as required. • Developing appropriate Compliance policies, processes, and documented controls to mitigate identified risks to acceptable levels. • Overseeing the delivery of technical builds for Compliance undertaken by other functions. • Specifying suitable pre implementation testing and post implementation validation to mitigate implementation risk. • Providing adequate assurance to the Compliance Leadership Team to enable products to go live as smoothly as possible. • Liaising with other functions across Mastercard, including Product Teams, Regulatory, Finance, and Global Compliance. • Representing and advocating for the Compliance position in working groups and project meetings. • Engaging with third party suppliers as required. • Preparing clear and concise reporting for the Compliance Leadership Team. • Completing applicable regulatory inventories for each entity as required. • Analysing significant external frauds and regulatory findings to identify patterns and potential improvements for MTS. • Participating in regulatory and industry outreach related to Financial Crime.
