We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Software Engineer (Test Automation Developer) to join our Codebenders line, supporting the Telematics Smart Products Experience at Nationwide. This role will focus on test automation for large, diverse, multi-system initiatives, driving quality and efficiency across complex integrations. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement test automation frameworks for multi-system projects. Perform card-level testing, test case planning, and optimize test efficiencies. Coordinate dependencies across teams and ensure seamless integration testing. Contribute to test community forums, sharing best practices and leveraging AI-driven solutions for test expansion and effectiveness. Must-Have Qualifications: Strong automation mindset with proven experience in test automation development. Hands-on experience with Ruby/Cucumber and other automation tools. Proficiency in API testing (Postman or similar tools). Experience with Kafka validation and automation. Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and dependency coordination. Nice-to-Have Skills: Working knowledge of defect tracking tool/s Experience with CI/CD integration for automated test pipelines. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.
