CostPoint System Administrator - Millennium Space Systems Company: The Boeing Company Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a CostPoint System Administrator to support and maintain our ERP environment, ensuring efficient and secure operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in administering Deltek CostPoint and associated modules, have strong coordination skills with both internal IT teams and external vendors, and bring experience from a complex manufacturing environment-preferably in aerospace or defense. This is an onsite role at our El Segundo, California. Position Responsibilities: Administer and support the Deltek Costpoint ERP system, including configuration, user management, and troubleshooting. Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and Deltek support teams to resolve technical issues and deploy enhancements. Lead or support ERP-related projects including system enhancements, module implementations, and data migrations. Coordinate with internal IT departments and external vendors on upgrades, patches, data integrations, and infrastructure changes. Maintain and optimize related systems, such as Time & Expense, Cognos, and business intelligence tools. Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, system configurations, and user guides. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline business processes and improve ERP utilization. Ensure ERP system controls and security settings align with compliance standards (e.g., SOX, DCAA, FAR). Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience administering Deltek Costpoint ERP in a production environment. Proven experience coordinating with internal IT and external ERP vendors to support technical operations and projects. Demonstrated ability to develop and support Cognos reports or other Costpoint-compatible BI tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience working in a discrete manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry. Familiarity with government contracting requirements and compliance (e.g., DCAA, DFARS). Working knowledge of Deltek Time & Expense, Cognos Analytics, and SQL-based data systems. Experience supporting enterprise system integrations with tools like SharePoint, PLM, or MES systems.
