Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager Company: BBST - Brazil Boeing Brazil is seeking Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager , reporting to the Senior engineering manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office The Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager will  lead high-performing engineering team (Structures Design and Stress) providing a variety of technical solutions and complex project oversight in support of existing and future products of Boeing Global Services – Commercial Modifications and Conversions. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering and Design. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must have existing rights to work in Brazil. Must have a degree in Engineering   with degrees in Aeronautical, Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering. Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Experience in Engineering design and/or analysis. Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers. Fluent in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language. Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): Experience leading or managing technical teams. Experience with product integrity and in-service safety, and/or mission assurance. Experience with Boeing Mods, Conversions and Interiors. Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation. Knowledge of ANAC/FAA/EASA Regulations Experience in leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports). Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
