Product Repair/Mod Tech (Aerospace Products Repair/Modification) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Repair/Modification Technician to support the Maintenance & Fabrication team in Kennedy Space Center, FL.   This role will have a heavy focus on electro-mechanical skills to include an emphasis on wire harness routing & repair, installation of ESD components, electrical grounding & testing, and test instrumentation installation. Position Responsibilities: ·          Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes ·          Performs routine troubleshooting of electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components ·          Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components ·          Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components ·          Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications ·          Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations) ·          Works under general supervision This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
