Tool Coordinator Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Tool Coor dinator to join the Tool Services team located in Salt Lake City, UT on Shift 2 .          S uccessful candidate s can assess manufacturing requirements and verif y customer requests , c oordinat e with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues and w orks with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards. As a Tool Coordinator you will p rovides guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts , p articipate in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state of the art cost-effective products and g athers manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements. In this role you will also investigate changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests , a nalyze and oversees procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services and work under limited supervision.       Position Responsibilities:   Coordinate and procure production tools and flyaway and non-flyaway consumables equipment to support manufacturing   Manage certified tools and tool-room processes, including ordering, replacement, inventory control, and re-certification   Liaise with customers and suppliers to optimize manufacturing support and supply chain responsiveness   Analyze usage and forecast demand          Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   1 + years of experience Assessing manufacturing requirements and verifying customer requests   1 + years of experience coordinating with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues   1 + years of experience p roviding guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts   1 + years of g athering manufacturing and product data to develop and recommend solutions for requirements   1 + years of a nalyzing, procuring , and overseeing procurement processes for manufacturing tools, services, and products   1 + years of experience with procurement and inventory management systems      Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):   Experienced in certified-tool management and tool-room operations, including inventory control and recertification   Collaborative problem-solver with a track record of partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, and suppliers to resolve issues   Drug Free Workplace:   Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.     Pay & Benefits:   At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
