Tool and Die Maker - CNC Operator (4992) Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Tool and Die Maker - CNC Operator to join our SAMC back shop team in San Antonio, TX . Position Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes Maintain a clean and safe work environment Document production data and maintain accurate records Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist 5+ years of experience in operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.) 5+ years of experience in G-code programming and CNC controls Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination skills working with small parts S trong computing skills, excellent communication skills and customer-oriented Ability to work a variable shift (1st or 2nd) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA software Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .
