Job Description Summary Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role: please only apply if this location is accessible for you. Candidate should be flexible to accommodate the global working hours. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with Architecture, Security, Engineering and Operations teams to implement new infra solutions, ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of infrastructure. We are looking for experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with at least 8-15 years of experience to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with AWS, VMWare, MS Azure, Gen AI, Networking, Storage, and Containerization.   Job Description Your key responsibilities: Create and lead solution designs for internal customers and help scoping of requirements to meet business needs. Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects Will be required to interact with various stakeholders at the business functional level and provide assistance on any infrastructure-related issues in collaboration with teams. Understand the business requirements, design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions as per Novartis Infrastructure standards Proficiency on AWS services like EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, EBS, EFS, ASG, IAM, ELB, Data sync, Route53, EKS, ECS etc., Good knowledge of MS Azure, Gen AI and related services. Ensure overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions and services Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of software/service. What you’ll bring to the role: Bachelor’s degree and more than 8 yrs. of experience with strong technical background. Proven experience working on large and complete projects in matrix environment covering wider spectrum of technologies. Proven experience as an AWS/Azure Solution Architect and DevOps, preferably within the life sciences industry Experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex, hybrid infrastructure solutions including PaaS, IaaS and on premises datacenter. Familiar with regulatory frameworks and standards applicable to the life sciences industry, such as GxP, HIPAA and FDA regulations. AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is an added advantage . Ability to work independently in the ad hoc environment Why Novartis?
