What you’ll achieve As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. You will: Design and implement highly scalable, distributed systems with advanced data mobility features. Serve as a technical leader, conducting deep design and code reviews to ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions. Lead initiatives to integrate AI technologies into PowerStore data mobility solutions. Mentor and guide senior and principal engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the Scrum team’s work aligns with business objectives. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) with 10-12 years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership in complex, distributed systems. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java (RxJava), C++, Python and multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows). Proven ability to apply advanced software engineering concepts and design patterns in building complex, distributed systems. Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive team collaboration. Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including AI tools, LLMs, and agentic AI frameworks.
