Job Description Summary #LI-Hybrid Lokacija/Location: Mengeš, Slovenija Interni naziv pozicije/Internal job title: Tehnolog proizvodnih procesov / Process Expert Iščemo inovativnega in visoko usposobljenega strokovnjaka za podatkovno znanost, ki se bo pridružil oddelku Novartis Operations in podpiral odločanje na podlagi podatkov v okviru kompleksnih proizvodnih in razvojnih procesov. Kot strokovnjak za podatkovno znanost boste imeli ključno vlogo pri razumevanju procesov od začetka do konca, prispevali k preiskavam vzrokov odstopanj ter razvijali napredne analitične in napovedne modele. Vaše odgovornosti bodo vključevale gradnjo kompleksnih podatkovnih baz za omogočanje robustne analitike, razvoj modelov za PAT, identifikacijo »golden batch-a«, napovedovanje med procesom, razvoj digitalnih dvojčkov, MVDA (multivariatna analiza podatkov) ter uporabo naprednih statističnih in računalniških tehnik za optimizacijo delovanja procesov.   Job Description Vaše ključne odgovornosti: Izdelava, strukturiranje in vzdrževanje kompleksnih podatkovnih baz, ki podpirajo analitične, modelirne in procesno-raziskovalne aktivnosti. Analiza procesov ter podpora proizvodnji pri iskanju in reševanju vzrokov za odstop (RCI). Razvoj naprednih modelov, vključno z modeli PAT, modeli »golden batch-a«, algoritmi za napovedovanje in digitalnimi dvojčki. Izvajanje MVDA in drugih multivariatnih ter univariatnih statističnih analiz. Uporaba računalniških, statističnih in na fiziki temelječih modelirnih pristopov za optimizacijo procesov. Sodelovanje s funkcionalno raznolikimi ekipami znotraj Novartis Operations pri razvoju učinkovitih rešitev na področju podatkovne znanosti. Zagotavljanje integritete podatkov, dokumentacije modelov ter skladnosti z uveljavljenimi standardi kakovosti podatkov in regulativnimi zahtevami. Vaš doprinos k delovnem mestu: Magisterij iz fizike, matematike, računalniške znanosti, elektrotehnike ali druge tehnološko usmerjene discipline. Trdna osnova iz matematike, fizike, računalništva in statistike. Praktične izkušnje z MVDA (multivariatna analiza podatkov). Izkušnje pri gradnji kompleksnih podatkovnih baz, razvoju modelov, statistični analizi in strojnem učenju. Izkušnje z digitalnimi dvojčki, modeliranjem PAT, analizo »golden batch-a« in napovedovanjem. Odlično poznavanje sodobnih orodij za podatkovno znanost, programskih jezikov in analitičnih platform. As Data Science Expert you will play a key role in understanding end‑to‑end process behavior, contributing to root‑cause investigations, and developing advanced analytical and predictive models. Responsibilities include building complex databases to enable robust analytics, developing models for PAT, golden batch identification, in‑process forecasting, digital‑twin development, MVDA (Multivariate Data Analysis), and applying advanced statistical and computational techniques to optimize process performance. Key Responsibilities: Build, structure, and maintain complex databases that support analytical, modeling, and process‑understanding activities. Analyze process behavior and support structured root‑cause investigations. Develop advanced models including PAT models, golden batch models, forecasting algorithms, and digital twins. Perform MVDA and other multivariate and univariate statistical analyses. Apply computational, statistical, and physics‑based modeling approaches to process optimization. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Novartis Operations to develop impactful data‑science solutions. Ensure data integrity, model documentation, and adherence to established data‑quality and compliance standards. What you will bring to the role: MSc degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computational Science, Electrotechnics, or another technology‑oriented field. Strong foundation in mathematics, physics, computation, and statistics. Hands‑on experience with MVDA (Multivariate Data Analysis). Proven experience in building complex databases, model development, statistical analysis, and machine learning. Experience with digital twins, PAT modeling, golden batch analysis, and forecasting. Proficiency in modern data‑science tools, programming languages, and analytical platforms. Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and effective communication abilities.
