What you’ll achieve As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. You will: Contribute to the development and architecture of our industry-leading modern storage platforms and take part in the full software development life cycle, including development, test, continuous delivery, and support Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all areas Implement features and test automation related to networking of storage systems Work on discovery task and proof of concepts around modern networking solutions Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 5+  years of related experience in the following areas: Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or C Understanding of modern Linux, including the kernel, drivers, containers, early boot, and other low-level technologies Ability to write clean, testable code; familiarity with unit/integration/system testing and CI/CD Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from design to implementation Desirable Requirements Familiarity and hands-on experience with Storage systems Knowledge about networking (ethernet, infiniband etc.) Capacity to achieve proficiency in new tools, languages and frameworks with training and on-the-job experience Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate in an Agile/ Scrum environment Benefits: Our people are the most critical component of our long-term success and their health and well-being are our priority.
