This candidate will participate in defining and developing retrofit technical documents detailing retrofit modifications and installations. Support in the definition of configuration requirements and the creation of kit assembly parts list. Create draft document delivery schedule in coordination with overall modification schedule. Prepare draft kit delivery schedule. Provide on-site support of moderately-complex retrofit installations related to maintenance, modifications, and repairs. Support the drafting of retrofit installation drawings. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including;  Associate or Mid-Level Retrofit Technical Specialists. Position Responsibilities: Identifies and defines requirements for retrofit kit definition, development and delivery Reviews engineering data packages to determine configuration requirements Provides technical resolution for retrofit and modification related problems Prepares draft document and kit delivery schedule in coordination with overall modification schedule Drafts modification instructions to include parts/materials/consumable listings and disposition requirements for removed assemblies Research material/parts and procedures during development of modification instructions to identify issues with parts/materials/consumables Validates engineering bill of materials and analyze gaps Prepares and authors retrofit documentation and coordinates technical and logistics requirements needed to support retrofit modifications Implements retrofit kit schedules in accordance with contract requirements Coordinates issues with engineering, technical data, tooling and material Approximately 25% of domestic travel will be required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 2+ years of experience with analyzing and interpreting engineering data (drawings) for inclusion into Retrofit Technical Documents 2+ years of experience in technical authoring F-15 aircraft experience 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat Prior experience working with TO’s and/or TCTO’s Must be willing to travel 25% of the time Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience  Active security clearance Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat 3+ years of experience with analyzing and interpreting engineering data (drawings) for inclusion into maintenance manuals and technical publications 3+ years of experience technical authoring Experience using REDARs, IQDS Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .
