Target is reinventing their Marketing solutions with Data Sciences at the center. We are driving for 1-1 personalization of Marketing content including the creation, personalization, and orchestration of that content. We are looking for innovative and driven individuals with strong engineering experience who can help us create the new Marketing universe for Target guests. This role will work to: Architect, Integrate, and optimize algorithmic decision making Influencing roadmaps and driving their execution with a team of talented scientists and engineers. Developing a multi-year vision of responsive, personalized marketing within the MarTech platform Developing and delivering high scalable low latency AI & ML deployments   Example of Problem Statements: Architecture to create a set of connected tech capabilities from content planning to content orchestration. How to productionize algorithms with low latency and high throughput Technology and algorithms to upgrade batch processes to always-on MarTech capabilities   Expected Skills : Experience in low latency ML engineering in AdTech/ MarTech/Recommender Systems Technical proficiency architecting, deploying and maintaining low latency distributed ML applications Strong collaborator and mentor Proficient in deployment in cloud and creating highly optimized ML pipelines   Preferred domain experience :   Creating tech led solutions in marketing, customer relevancy models, and content orchestration   About You: Computer Science graduates from reputed engineering institutes with 10+ years of experience in data science, artificial intelligence PhD with relevant experience of 7+ years of experience Good knowledge and experience developing optimization, simulation, and statistical models Strong analytical thinking skills . Ability to creatively solve business problems, innovating new approaches where required including GenAI Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive . Additional knowledge of Spark, Scala, R, Java desired but not mandatory Good working knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts, algorithms, and computational complexity Passion for solving interesting and relevant real-world problems using a data science approach Experience in implementing advanced statistical techniques like regression, clustering, PCA, forecasting (time series) etc. Able to produce reasonable documents/narrative suggesting actionable insights Excellent communication skills.
