Geotab is seeking an intern who will immediately contribute to the Development Team's efforts. What you'll do: As a Software Developer Intern, your key area of responsibility will be to ensure the reliable operation of web-based applications that we developed In-House. Our projects efforts span across various business sectors, including marketing, support, careers and more. You will have the chance to work directly with the stakeholders, and also contribute on any innovative work that the team can come up with. You will write high performance C#, SQL queries, and React/JavaScript code. As our team is primarily focused on web development, you will learn how to work on cloud infrastructure in GCP and contribute in weekly deployments with the mentorship of Senior Developers in the team. Understanding the performance impact of designs, accessibility, good UI design and scalability will make you an ideal and successful candidate who will find reward in building robust software that can function 24/7 with no down time. The opportunity: 12 month work-term beginning May 2026. Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week. This posting is for an existing vacancy. How you'll make an impact: Participate in team meetings and discussions in an Agile environment. Use GIT for source control. Develop UI components using TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Develop automated unit tests using XUnit, Jest. Develop software using any Object-oriented programming language. CRUD operations on Postgres database, utilizing ORM technologies such as Prisma and EFCore. Participate in peer reviews. Debugging and testing software. Write technical documentation. What you'll bring to the role: Pursuing a University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and strong work ethic. Experience with Postgres, Next.js, C#, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS is an asset. If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! The actual pay for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to student's academic program, relevant experience, and location. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work for the duration of the internship and the individual's ability to pass a background check.Hourly Rate$24 - $36 CAD
