YOUR IMPACT As an Information Security Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Cisco Cyber Vision's threat detection and asset visibility capabilities. For example:   Develop cutting-edge machine learning models for SnortML to accurately detect both classical IT cyberattacks and critical OT-specific threats targeting industrial protocols. Enhance OT asset visibility and vulnerability identification by building sophisticated ML models that correlate and reconcile information from diverse inventory sources, inferring accurate asset identities even from ambiguous data.   Contribute directly to safeguarding industrial control systems, gaining practical experience in a rapidly evolving field. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Basic knowledge of network protocols and cybersecurity concepts. Data science background with hands-on experience using machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensorflow). Proficiency in Python programming and data analysis libraries. Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Demonstrated teamwork and problem-solving skills. Eager to learn with a research-driven mindset. Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments. Par exemple :   Développez des modèles de Machine Learning de pointe pour SnortML afin de détecter avec précision les cyberattaques informatiques classiques et les menaces critiques spécifiques à l'OT ciblant les protocoles industriels. Améliorez la visibilité des actifs OT et l'identification des vulnérabilités en construisant des modèles ML sophistiqués qui corrèlent et réconcilient les informations provenant de diverses sources d'inventaire, déduisant des identités d'actifs précises même à partir de données ambiguës. Contribuez directement à la sauvegarde des systèmes de contrôle industriels, en acquérant une expérience pratique dans un domaine en évolution rapide. QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES Connaissances de base des protocoles réseau et des concepts de cybersécurité. Formation en Data science avec une expérience pratique de l'utilisation de bibliothèques de Machine Learning (par exemple, scikit-learn, Tensorflow). Maîtrise de la programmation Python et des bibliothèques d’analyse de données. Connaissance pratique des systèmes d'exploitation Linux/Unix et des outils en ligne de commande. QUALIFICATIONS PRÉFÉRÉES Solides compétences en communication verbale et écrite en anglais. Capacité démontrée à travailler en équipe et à résoudre des problèmes.
