Meet the Team The Innovation, Automation and Disruption (IAD) CX Engineering team seeks a highly motivated Software Engineer to join some of the industry's brightest minds in the software development field using today's most advanced technologies. You will work cross functionally with the Customer Experience, Operations, and IT organizations, playing a role in transforming Cisco by developing and implementing programs critical for Cisco Customers and Employees. IAD's expertise makes us uniquely qualified to address the evolving expectations of today’s stakeholders. Using real-time connected data, GenAI, ML/AI, and automation the team enables Cisco internal and external stakeholders to deliver a powerful, personalized experience—throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Your Impact  As a software engineer, your role will consist of working with other developers and architecture leads to define, develop and deliver new capabilities, while supporting your application and engaging with users to drive improvements.  You will: Apply best practices to develop highly secure quality code Deliver your best results as part of our fast-paced scrum teams Contribute to solving a high variety of technical and business challenges to optimize the user experience Continuously learn about and experiment with new technologies (AI, back-end technologies, etc.) to improve our systems Demonstrate a can-do attitude adapting to changing priorities  Minimum Qualifications 1 year of experience with Python 3 or Javascript/NodeJs Kubernetes (working experience) Docker (working experience) Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications Strong communication skills (English is the primary language) Demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaboration skills REST webservices (working experience) Relational and NonSQL Databases (working experience) UNIX/Linux (working experience) Practical knowledge of Agile workflows and ceremonies (using Jira) Experience with Git Application troubleshooting expertise Knowledge of network automation frameworks and AI-driven anomaly detection Experience with AI-driven DevOps automation Experience with multi-cloud strategies and edge computing.   Why Cisco?  At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond.
