Meet the Team Work on extensive structured, unstructured, transactional and real-time data sets from a variety of sources to analyze customer usage patterns and provide actionable, intuitive, impactful insights using metrics, algorithms, and statistics. Your Impact Acquire, clean and structure data from various sources and maintain databases/data systems Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Develop, prototype and test predictive algorithms Filter and "clean" data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports Minimum Qualifications Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or degree program (e.g., Associates, Apprenticeship, Boot Camp, or Certification in a specialized program + 3 years of relevant experience, High School Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience, Bachelors + 2 years of relevant experience) or Masters + 0 years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include: Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent. Proficiency in data manipulation tools (SQL, Hadoop, etc.), programming languages (R, Python, XML, JavaScript, or ETL), and solid understanding of reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects) and statistical packages for data analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). Technical knowledge in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques, with proficiency in writing queries, report writing, and presenting findings. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle databases Familiarity with advanced machine learning techniques, neural networks, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch Expertise in analyzing time-series data and forecasting Familiarity with software development methodologies Strong presentation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences . For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $135,300.00 - $197,400.00 Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $120,600.00 - $175,600.00 * For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
