Meet the Team The Inside Account Executive (iAE) for Networking is a specialized sales role dedicated to driving revenue growth across Cisco's industry-leading Networking solutions. This role works collaboratively as part of the Cisco Portfolio Inside Account Executive team, with a focus on Mid-Market (MID) and Small-Medium Business (SMB) accounts. The iAE engages directly with customers and partners to identify, qualify, and close Networking opportunities, delivering Cisco's innovative solutions to support customer success and digital transformation. Your Impact Build and maintain positive relationships with partners and customers to drive trust and results. High-velocity sales approach targeting MID and SMB accounts in the Private and Public Sector. Leverage Cisco sales tools, including Cisco AI Assistant for Sales, to streamline workflows and enhance customer engagement. Achieve assigned quota targets for a designated MID and SMB territory, with a strong emphasis on Networking solutions. Develop and maintain deep expertise in Cisco's Networking portfolio, including competitive positioning and sales strategies. Manage the full sales cycle for Networking opportunities, from qualification through to closure. Work closely with partners and internal teams to attract, develop, and close deals, ensuring customer adoption and satisfaction. Maintain pipeline excellence and provide accurate forecasting for Networking sales. Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive insights related to Networking technologies. Utilize Cisco's tech stack and sales plays to optimize customer engagement and sales effectiveness. Participate in quarterly territory planning and review sessions in collaboration with Cisco Portfolio Inside Account Executives (iAEs). Support hybrid work with occasional travel for critical customer and partner engagements. Minimum Qualifications 2-3 years of channel experience or similar B2B quota-carrying sales, ideally with Networking, software (sales, adoption/renewal), or cybersecurity experience. Cisco sales, product, and technical certifications preferred. Consistent achievement of sales quotas and forecasted revenue targets. Use data-driven decision-making for pipeline management and sales forecasting. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate Cisco's guiding principles in all interactions and decision-making. BS/BA or equivalent. Exhibit strong collaboration and teamwork with Cisco iAEs for the MM and SMB territory. Balance partner engagement with direct customer interaction effectively. Convey the "One Cisco Story" by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Cisco's full product portfolio.
