From day one, we act with people’s best interests at heart: we enable GoCardless employees to focus on what matters most to them by providing the best tools to support their work independently. As an IT Technician in our IT team, you’ll be focused on supporting our suite of collaboration tools, working with the Service Desk on escalated incidents and problems, maintaining self-help documentation for employees, and engaging in integration and development projects for new technologies. You have a strong working knowledge of SaaS enterprise technologies, integrations, and APIs, as well as a good understanding of workplace infrastructure such as networks. We are looking for someone who is curious and eager to understand how things work under the hood. You should have a passion for using automation, new products, and features to help the team fulfill its mission. Tech stack: - Mac OS X- Google Workspace- Slack and Zoom for communications- Kandji (or relevant experience with MDM tools)- Atlassian Suite- 1Password- OKTA   What excites you  Given the versatile nature of the role, we’re looking for someone who learns fast, enjoys collaborating with others, and is a pragmatic decision-maker. You are passionate about the end-user experience You are enthusiastic about building automation to improve productivity and to help IT get “out of the way” of our teams’ daily work You want to expand your knowledge of AI and understand how it can help improve internal systems and processes You enjoy working with the Google Workspace suite and adopt a zero-trust approach to building and operating corporate tools What excites us   Experience and knowledge of macOS, Google Workspace Administration, and Google Cloud Identity, including user management, devices, and applications In-depth knowledge of various IT systems, including email, document storage, identity and access management, networking, and MDM Good working knowledge of unified communication platforms Understanding of best practices regarding engineering, data security, and identity management Coding and scripting experience in one or more general-purpose languages Knowledge of Google Workspace Developer tools, including Apps Script and Google Workspace APIs Base salary range:  the expected base salary range for this position is between €2,200 - €3,300 gross Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data.  Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role.
