As a key member of this fast-growing team, you will have significant ownership and impact on the next generation of ranking systems for Devvit apps and the strategic direction of our Data API business. Role Description: You will develop a long-term vision and build the roadmap for ranking Devvit apps and Data API, ensuring a highly relevant and engaging user experience. This role requires a strong technical background and an understanding of machine learning concepts to drive innovation in our ranking systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for our Data API business, playing a pivotal role in evolving the existing Data API and spearheading initiatives to effectively monetize API products. Responsibilities: Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for ranking Devvit apps. Lead the strategy, development, and monetization of Reddit's Data API. Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and other cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products. Identify new investment opportunities and drive thoughtful recommendations to maximize value for Reddit. Be an internal expert in your area, synthesizing various inputs to provide clear product direction in ambiguous situations. Drive challenging discussions and negotiate to resolve controversial issues between teams. Build and run processes for your team to execute effectively. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience as a Product Manager, for a ranking or API product Strong understanding of machine learning and ranking concepts Strong understanding of API design, development, and lifecycle. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.The base pay range for this position is:$217,000 - $303,900 USDIn select roles and locations, the interviews will be recorded, transcribed and summarized by artificial intelligence (AI).
