We believe our firm’s greatest asset is the people who work here.The Legal Associate will join a legal team that has a broad range of responsibilities relevant to our business, including legal support for fund formation work, investment transactions and structures, trading activities, and other management company and investment advisory matters.  The work encompasses investor relations, fund structuring, transactional, corporate governance, and regulatory matters and requires solid drafting skills.  This position will work closely with tax and operations personnel, as well as with certain third-party service providers.  The ideal candidate has excellent legal, communication and presentation skills, together with some familiarity with alternative investment funds and fixed income products. Primary Responsibilities may include from time to time: Reviewing and preparing marketing materials for funds managed by the firm, assisting in fund formation matters, and advising investor relations regarding marketing activities and investor subscriptions and redemptions. Drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements and other documentation in connection with portfolio investment transactions, etc. Reviewing and summarizing relevant regulatory issues in the U.S., Europe and elsewhere. Working closely with investor relations, tax and finance professionals and outside counsel on work relating to ongoing operations of investment funds, fund governance matters and management of servicing arrangements. Qualifications: J.D. degree and 1-2 years’ relevant work experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player who combines interpersonal and communication skills along with keen analytical Excellent work ethic that demonstrates initiative, problem solving and continuous learning.                                                                                                                                           Current anticipated annual base salary range: $120,000- $145,000 Base salary within the range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills and qualifications.
