The Opportunity This is a critical and exciting time at Enigma. The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our API and Data Delivery Team. You will play a central role in architecting, building and managing critical systems in distilling and delivering large data sets, working with teammates and clients to solve high-impact, real-world problems. What You’ll Do Build scalable, highly-available, high-throughput, highly maintainable systems, deployed in cloud environments Solve problems with containers, cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code (we use Docker, AWS and Terraform) Have a “can-do” attitude and doesn’t flinch when faced with a challenge, no matter how large or small Pride themselves on writing highly readable, thoroughly tested code Get excited when working as part of a motivated, collaborative team Identify problems that others aren’t seeing and makes sure they get solved Is driven to work with customers to have an impact on the real world Inspire their teammates to perform at their best while building a collaborative, supportive team culture Effectively manage responsibilities for architecture and design decisions, hands-on implementation, team organization and technical mentorship What Makes This Role Exciting? An ideal candidate is an engineer looking to grow their responsibilities and work with the team to have a significant technical and business impact. Salary Range: $160,000-$210,000 A note on salary ranges: we pride ourselves on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is one piece of a total Enigma compensation package that includes additional benefits and opportunities. All of our compensation packages include equity because we believe 100% of Enigma employees should have the option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from the value we’re creating together.
