We have raised over $10M in funding, led by Point72 Ventures, a top multi-billion dollar AUM defense tech investor.  Role Summary:   We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to join our vehicle team.   Key Responsibilities:   Perform mechanical and electrical prototype assembly tasks on high-performance autonomous off-road ground vehicles.  Test and troubleshoot electromechanical systems. Work in a small team to improve designs, fabricate components and modify existing parts for off-road vehicles.   Assume responsibility for safe and efficient operation of machinery and shop equipment.  Support safety, quality and process improvements.  Desired Experience & Qualifications:  Strong technical background: Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience can substitute).  3+ years of experience in assembly and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.  Proficiency with metal and woodworking tools; experience with machine shop tools and welding preferred.  Proficiency with electrical wiring, soldering and cable/harness assembly preferred.   Experience with off-road vehicle operations, maintenance, and modifications preferred.   Ability to lift more than 40 lbs.  Grit: You excel in a small-team atmosphere, taking ownership of problems and working with your colleagues to solve problems across disciplines.   Field-test forward: You enjoy getting your hands dirty and going off the beaten path to see the results of your work.  Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.   Ability to relocate to Seattle, WA.
