Overview We are searching for a Technical Consultant to join our rapidly growing Professional Services group in our Center of Excellence in Hyderabad, India. This involves review of functional requirements, review of technical specifications, and development or troubleshooting according to specification use cases. Technical Consultant in Professional Services is responsible for the implementation, upgrade and troubleshooting of Mitratech's suite of products for our customer’s. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for Java based development and Integration development for Mitratech software products either customer onsite or remotely. Troubleshoot issues through reproducing the problem and determine resolution Must be able to read and update code that meets design specifications, follows standards, is of high quality and is easy to maintain. Closely collaborate with Technical Consultants and Support Engineers to review customer requests and provide resolution. Review and/or update existing Best Practices and SOP documents. Works independently as Customer facing consultant with Customer’s to understand issue, troubleshoot and help resolve technical problems. Provide regular updates and proposals/recommendations for increasing efficiency in implementation, process improvements, technologies, and tools to the manager. Maintain detailed call records for all customer interactions Prioritize and resolve issues of the highest technical and business severity. Ability to carry out all policies and procedures as established by the team, department or company at large. Any other tasks that from time to time may be assigned to the role. Document technical environments, processes and procedures, testing plans, project plans Participate in customer calls to give updates on outstanding services related issues Participate in on-call rotation as required Required Skills & Experience: 2+ years of experience working with enterprise software applications in development/QA, support, services or similar technical role 3+ years of Experience on Oracle and SQL Server or relational databases environment. Experience in DDL, DML SQL and PL/SQL scripting. 1 year of experience in Java development focused in Web Application development, installation and modification in Web Application. Experience and knowledge in Java, J2EE programming technologies Knowledge in HTML, XML, JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax Experience or knowledge on GitHub Experience or knowledge on Web Services (SOAP and REST with OAuth). Experience in using Eclipse or similar IDE tool. Working experience in Software Development methodologies like Waterfall and Agile. Experience in working in Linux and Windows environment. Must have Customer facing experience with excellent communication Desired Skills & Experience:                          Excellent organizational, customer relationship, verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem solving and listening skills Added advantage with experience on legal products (TeamConnect) Education & Personal Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Open to leading the team as needed.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude. Self-motivated, strong team player able to work independently and ability to multi-task. Strong attention to detail.
