Description - External Management & Competency ⦁    Manage his organization ⦁    Manage his team of engineers and technicians (yearly reviews, meetings, missions, objectives) ⦁    Define the necessary qualifications for his team according to the benchmark and to the technical and technological evolutions ⦁    Ensure that competency level is at the level requested to properly handle new/future projects and new/future Technologies (in line with TDP). Identify gaps, define and implement the proper action plan. Responsible for training action plan achievement on his team. ⦁    Allocate his staff in the various projects and support the Project team in priorities management. ⦁    Propose trainings and career evolutions ⦁    Responsible of recruitment of the members of his department ⦁    Participate in the Valeo Expertise process by preparing and proposing candidates. Budget ⦁    Responsible for his department's budget; build, propose and follow his budget. Ensure on a monthly basis that Headcount (Internal/SC/TC/GEEDS) are aligned with Budget.  ⦁    Participate in project budget construction. Contribute to the quotation of R&D budget (during CAA and/or IAR) in terms of resources (hours), equipment, investments for P0, P1 and P10 projects for his metier. ⦁    Accountable for budgeted hours approved in CAA and/or IAR in his metier. ⦁    Control spending By Project and implement corrective actions when deviation is occuring. ⦁    Responsible for workload forecast in his métier. ⦁    Propose yearly investment plan. Define and standardize investment (Equipments, licences,...) to be integrated in yearly Budget ⦁    Responsible for the Department efficiency using the Efficiency Plan / KPIs built together with the Product Architect and Systems Engineering Discipline Director. Process, Methodology, Tools, Equipment ⦁    Participate to the definition of, and implement the process, methods and the tools necessary to properly handle new/future projects and new/future Technologies (in line with TDP) ⦁    Deploy the Engineering process, methodology and tools defined by / together with the Métier Mngr / Dir ⦁    Ensure the full deployment of 5 axes methodology ⦁    Support the Certification process (Audits, ASpice, …) Networking ⦁    Participate to and support the Product Architecture and Systems Engineering network ⦁    Participate to the improvement of the standards, methods & tools related to Product Architecture and Systems Engineering Standardization & Robust Design ⦁    Support RAISE team by ensuring knowledge, training and implementation of the standards ⦁    Participates in the elaboration of standards with RAISE and actively participate to Design reviews ⦁    Review and challenge Destandardization requests before release ⦁    Ensure all Projects are 100% covered by regular Métier Design Reviews and monitor appropriate Action Plan follow up (under RAISE coordination) ⦁    Lead the review of RED Box Incident after detection from Design Review Process ⦁    Ensure that each single design is achieving the highest level of Robust design. Resources / Footprint ⦁    Centralize information on all existing resources in his region ⦁    Define the assignment of resources for a new project and support the project team in priorities management. ⦁    Identify, create synergies and ensure optimum use of all resources ⦁    Identify the needs in terms of dedicated and shared resources.
