We are looking for a VIE Project Buyer for 12 months. Your challenges? You will lead the sourcing process fro m material cost target prepar ation till completion of automotive qualification steps and project closure You will participate in project meetings, activities and support project award  You will involve Segment Leader in appropriate timing to share project constraints and propose sourcing strategy compliant with Group Segment Strategy You will select supplier bid-list based on Compliant Segment Panel and liaise with Project and Segment organizations to identify Bundle opportunities You will assess pre-selected suppliers' risk impacts on the project  You will install competition between suppliers bringing at least two suppliers at the same technical level and proceed with all negotiations  You will leverage commodity organization to reach pre-sourcing, sourcing decisions and meet project targets You will define and control communication flows and contents between project teams and suppliers You will manage the monthly reporting (KPIs) towards the Product Line  Let’s talk about you… You are graduated from a master degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Commerce International, You ideally have experience in automotive purchasing Knowledge of automotive cost calculation is a plus You have a fluent level of English Knowledge of German is a plus You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy  Please, don't forget to apply in English to facilitate the process with our managers.  Why Valeo?
