Description - External Accountable for : Perform activities in compliance with Metier Development Plan of his/her PG/PL  Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets Support technical architecture and standards assignments Follow Standardization rules Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product  Complying with Métiers processes and Design Rules:  Perform or support Optics design simulations/coding/validation Perform or support Optics design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies Perform or support Optics tests Management follow-up Reports the progress of his tasks Escalate risks Follow-up optical developments in his perimeter. Ensure application of optic rules and procedures. Coordinates métier design reviews and associated action plan. Others Actions as member of optic network: Tech watch analysis on the subjects concerned by his domain of expertise (product, patent) Participate in meetings of creativity by offering innovative solutions that can lead to patents. Makes suggestions to set up within the Laboratory,  (material or methodological developments) aimed at improving the efficiency of the service. May, within its field of expertise or through studies specific to the service, supervise a trainee. Applying the Environment Safety and Security procedures and good practices; know for their activities and the activities of subcontractors the potential risks and their consequences. Be attentive and responsive to them and manage the associated action plans.
