Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Company:** Valeo Internal Automotive Software Egypt Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Valeo Internal Automotive Software Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging data to provide actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive business growth within our innovative automotive software environment. Job Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain robust Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, to meet the evolving needs of various business units. * Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing clear and concise interpretations of complex datasets. * Manage and optimize database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility for BI initiatives. * Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain high-quality data standards across the organization. * Perform advanced data mining techniques to uncover hidden insights and predictive patterns that inform business strategies. * Develop and implement effective data modeling solutions to support efficient data storage and retrieval for analytical purposes. * Collaborate with data science teams to integrate advanced analytical models and machine learning outputs into BI platforms. * Create compelling and interactive data visualizations that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business insights to stakeholders at all levels. * Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level Data Warehousing (DW) solutions, ensuring scalability and performance. * Write and optimize complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources. * Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven automation within the BI landscape. * Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of the BI team's capabilities. Job Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar data-focused role. * Proven expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView). * Strong proficiency in Data Analysis methodologies and statistical techniques. * Extensive experience with Database Management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and database design principles. * Demonstrated understanding and practical application of Data Governance best practices. * Experience with Data Mining techniques and tools. * Solid background in Data Modeling (dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema). * Familiarity with Data Science concepts and their application in a business context. * Exceptional skills in Data Visualization, with a portfolio showcasing effective dashboards and reports. * In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Data Warehousing (DW) concepts and implementation. * Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) for data manipulation and analysis. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights for non-technical audiences. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
