YOUR ROLE We are seeking an experienced API Solution Architect to join Edenred’s technology team and drive the transformation of our strategic platforms towards a more connected and efficient ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for the full API lifecycle, from evangelizing API best practices and usage across business units, to hands-on modeling, design, and implementation of secure, scalable APIs. You will play a pivotal role in converging siloed platforms by promoting and developing common assets, establishing API standards, and fostering reusability. As a technical leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust API security, guide implementation efforts, and provide expertise on integration patterns and governance. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, combined with your passion for innovation and continuous improvement, will be essential as you help shape Edenred’s API strategy and enable business agility through modern, unified interfaces. In addition, you will often need to look beyond APIs themselves, taking a holistic approach that considers integration challenges, robust security practices, and data management requirements to ensure seamless, secure, and reliable connectivity across Edenred’s platforms. Non exhaustive list of potential tasks: * API platforms Contribute to API solutions implementations to enable seamless integration between systems and platforms. Co-build and support teams building APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC) that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Optimize APIs for developer usability while ensuring alignment with business needs, and strong security requirements too. Actively participate to design authorities to accelerate convergence between platforms, and respect of the group standards (and help improve group standards at the same time). * Domain Driven Approach Technical aspect of the job is important, but one of the key priorities of the role is to support multiple projects, and allow mutualization between common functional perimeter. Drive convergence prioritizing collaboration across teams while maintaining a strong understanding of both business outcomes and technical implementation. Being a reflexive partner to challenge both technical & functional aspects of projects defined domains. Evangelization around domain driven approach, and API platforms in general.   * Data strategy Collaborate with headquarters and data teams to implement data solutions in a datamesh approach, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with enterprise-wide data architecture principles. Provide architectural guidance and support for data-related projects, emphasizing the utilization of group-provided data solutions and technologies. YOUR PROFILE To be successful in this role you should : BS/MS in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent work experience - advanced degree preferred. Have 5+ years of experience in the software product preferably in the financial industry in solution architecture and software development roles. Being hands-on is a key accelerator, and ideally, your dev skills are in the Java ecosystem . Why? In-depth knowledge of industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies specifically in enterprise finance systems landscape Expertise in architecting, designing and developing large scale solutions. Experience in making successful trade-offs that balance the short- and long-term product goal Experience driving engineering design using Agile process to drive innovation, accelerate decisions and outcomes while minimizing risk Partner with senior engineering leaders and business leaders to influence organizational and structural changes.
