Midleton Distillery Experience is a one-of-a-kind whiskey experience that takes our visitors beyond process and taste and brings them to the very essence of Irish whiskey. Each year we welcome thousands of visitors from all across the globe through our doors, where we connect our guests to our world class whiskey production process and deep-rooted history. The job As a Brand Ambassador you will give our guests the opportunity to touch, taste, smell and interact with our family of brands. You will help drive brand love across our full whiskey portfolio, inspiring passion for our products. No two days are ever the same in the role of Brand Ambassador which offers plenty of variety and challenge, alongside the opportunity to rotate across different areas of the distillery experience business, including our fantastic retail facility, our buzzing bar or delivering one of our wide range of tours. One day you could be hosting our multi-sensory tours and tastings, the next you could be greeting our guests at reception or showcasing and selling our whiskeys in our retail shop. We are also particularly interested to hear from candidates with Cocktail making experience, as well as budding salespersons who enjoy selling in retail. Unlike our whiskey maturation process, which takes its time, the atmosphere at Midleton Distillery Experience is fast-paced – a buzzing environment where our customer-first approach isn't just a mantra; we live and breathe it every day. About you Our next Brand Ambassadors will possess an infectious, outgoing personality along with excellent communication skills and a natural desire to not only meet but exceed our visitors' expectations. We are seeking individuals who excel at storytelling, radiate energy, and find joy in consumer-centric roles that offer variety and excitement. A diligent work ethic, coupled with the ability to thrive in a team, is crucial, and a sense of fun is equally valued. Like us, you should hold a genuine appreciation for our heritage and share our enthusiasm for inspiring passion for the products we are so proud to produce. Ideally, our next Brand Ambassadors will bring experience from a customer-facing role, whether in retail, bars, hotels, or another customer facing role. Perhaps you are currently studying at one of Cork's universities, seeking part-time hours leading up to exams, with the flexibility to transition to a full-time position post-exams. Alternatively, you may be working in hospitality or retail and are eager to shift towards more daytime-focused hours, allowing for increased quality time with your family and friends. Essential Previous customer service experience (hospitality, retail, tourism, bars, hotels) Fluent level German Confident, engaging communicator with an outgoing and friendly personality Ability to tell stories and bring brands and products to life Comfortable working across multiple guest-facing areas (tours, tastings, retail, bar, reception) Enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Team-focused with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Flexible and adaptable to varied duties, schedules, and peak visitor times Genuine interest in brands, heritage, and learning product knowledge Professional, approachable, and reliable Desirable Retail or sales experience, including recommending and selling products Cocktail-making or bar experience Experience delivering tours, tastings, or presentations Additional language skills (French, German, Spanish, Italian) Knowledge or interest in whiskey, spirits, or premium brands Experience working with international visitors What we offer We understand our people are our special ingredient.
