Seine Fachexperten sind für die Konstruktion, Entwicklung und Integration der Ariane 6-Oberstufe verantwortlich. Sie entwickeln auch die Kick-Stufe Astris, eine zusätzliche Oberstufe, die vom zukünftigen wiederzündbaren Triebwerk BERTA angetrieben wird und die Vielseitigkeit der Ariane 6 steigern soll. Auch Metalltanks für orbitale Antriebssysteme werden am Standort Bremen hergestellt. Its experts are responsible for the design, development and final integration of the Ariane 6 upper stage. They are also developing the Astris Kick Stage, an additional upper stage powered by the future reignitable bi-propellant engine called Berta, which will further enhance Ariane 6’s versatility.
