Job Overview As a QA Engineer with IQVIA Digital, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our cloud‑based web platform. You will be part of a collaborative, globally distributed Agile team where you’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and fellow QA engineers to support frequent release cycles and deliver high‑quality features. This is a remote‑first role that offers flexibility and supportive core collaboration hours. You’ll join a strong QA discipline that values mentorship, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing. The work you do will directly contribute to innovative healthcare technology that empowers organizations to make smarter, data‑driven decisions—ultimately improving real‑world healthcare outcomes. Your daily responsibilities will include test planning, manual and automated testing, API validation, SQL‑based data checks, and structured defect management. You’ll help build and refine automated regression coverage, participate in internal QA presentations, and continuously improve testing practices across the engineering organization. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements to develop clear, comprehensive test cases. Design and execute manual and automated test plans for web applications and backend services. Write and maintain automated UI and API tests using Python, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or similar tools. Validate APIs using Postman and perform SQL-based data verification. Support weekly release cycles through functional testing, regression testing, and automated test development. Document test results, track defects, and contribute to quality process improvements. Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams within an Agile development framework. Participate in QA‑focused knowledge sharing to walk through new features and recommended testing approaches. Required Skills 2–5 years of software QA experience, including both manual and automated testing for web applications. Demonstrated experience writing automated test scripts (UI and/or API). Experience with Python or Java/TypeScript‑based automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright. Familiarity with SQL for basic data queries and validation. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross‑functional environment. Highly self‑motivated and effective in a fully remote work setting. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience). Nice to Have Skills Experience with cloud-based platforms or distributed systems. Exposure to large-scale data environments or analytics tools. Background in advertising technology (AdTech). Familiarity with AI/ML testing concepts or use of AI-assisted development tools.
