Associate Home Builder Reports to :    Department Manager (DM) General Expectations : Team members are expected to set a good example and uphold quality, safety, work pace, attitude and attendance. Team members should also have a good understanding of the following duties/responsibilities, skills, knowledge, and abilities required, as well as, the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job. Duties / Responsibilities : Report to DM each morning prior to the start of the work shift. Check in with DM before leaving for the day. Work the hours needed to complete assigned tasks for the day. (8hr shifts with the possibility of overtime) Must be safety conscious and will be required to report safety concerns to EHS Manager or DM. Uphold established quality and performance expectations. Maintain adequate production pace to meet required production schedules. Demonstrate willingness to teamwork to meet performance objectives. Ensure daily adherence to cleaning initiatives and help keep work area organized. Demonstrate continuous willingness to learn and grow within the home building facility. Demonstrate honesty in all situations. Adhere to all company policies. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience in construction and/or production preferred. Physical requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively. Ability to be on your feet (standing and/or walking) for up to 4 hours at a time. Ability to perform a job that includes but is not limited to repetitive stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling and/or reaching overhead. Ability to safely handle and use various power tools and guns that range in weight of 1 – 5 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all general physical demands of the job.
