This position is also responsible for expediting shortages and creating, updating, and maintaining shop paper.     Essential Functions Monitor floor for shortages Expedite shortages through purchasing, weld, and fabrication Correct Bill of Materials (BOM) through the BOM query system Exercise skills in location management Gather components and parts needed for different stages of assembly (kitting) Process and reconcile inventory Possess the ability to read work orders/dispatch reports and follow oral instruction Determine root cause for shortages Assemble shop paper including build book & work order batching Responsible for Change Order (PCO) distribution Follow up on any issues Raise potential issues to the appropriate level for disposition Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills Regular attendance required All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned   Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent education Six months of previous manufacturing experience Preferred Qualifications to complete Essential Functions Ability to use a tape measure Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently Possess strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Other Physical Requirements *All positions require the ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
