The Purchasing Specialist (Advanced Technology) role is an intermediate-level individual contributor position within the Global Procurement & Supply Chain function at JLG Industries, Inc. (Access Segment). This role plays a key part in advancing JLG and Oshkosh Corporation’s technology leadership in the areas of Electrification, Autonomy & Active Safety, Intelligent Products & Connected Solutions, and Factory of the Future. Leveraging market research, category expertise, and cross-functional collaboration and alignment, the Purchasing specialist develops and deploys Category Strategies for the assigned workstream(s), ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and the Procurement Excellence strategy. By building strong supplier relationships, supporting cost management and optimization initiatives, and contributing to cross-functional sourcing projects, the Purchasing specialist delivers value across the product lifecycle while enhancing organizational resiliency. Through analytical rigor, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset, this role elevates Global Procurement & Supply Chain in driving innovation and growth to sustain JLG and Oshkosh Corporation’s competitive innovation advantage.
