Corporate Regulatory Law Internship Position Summary: Clayton offers a multitude of different opportunities through our Summer Internship Program. The Clayton Summer Internship Program challenges students to think critically and analytically within their field of study while allowing them direct, hands-on working experience. The Corporate Regulatory Intern will work directly with our in house legal team in various research projects that advise how our business works through legal changes. Internship Program Details: Internships are paid, full-time, hourly positions. Internship dates are May 18th – August 7th 2025 Internships include several professional development workshops and opportunities for networking with other interns across Clayton's various lines of business. Interns will facilitate a presentation of their Summer project to Clayton Senior Leadership at the completion of their internship. What you will do: Corporate Regulatory Interns are a part of the Clayton Legal team. You will be responsible for regulatory legal research and responding to business requests. What skills you will learn or develop: The Corporate Regulatory Law Intern will be introduced to general regulatory law frameworks, as well as laws specific to consumer finance, data privacy, home construction, and marketing. Qualifications: Must be a 1st or 2nd year law student. Interest in regulatory/ in house legal career Experience in marketing, real estate, mortgage financial services law or related Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to research topics that are new Westlaw/Lexis experience preferred Perks of Interning at Clayton: Clayton’s internship program offers the opportunity for interns to complete real, value-add work projects while building both interpersonal and technical skillsets.
