The $7.8 million project is expected to be completed and open to patients March 2023. This facility is a continued investment in our Niles community and the health of those we serve. It houses a range of coordinated health services from diagnostics to primary and specialty care, all in one place, allowing us to deliver care to a patient’s whole family, right in their community. Our provider panel consists of more than 150 primary care providers, and over 800 specialty care providers who are dedicated to serving the health care needs of our community. Corewell Health Lakeland includes three acute care hospitals in St. Joseph, Niles, and Watervliet, as well as multiple other state-of-the-art facilities throughout the region. https://lakelandcare.com/directory/facility/corewell-health-lakeland-hospitals-st-joseph-hospital Scope of Work Under the direction of a Pharmacist, provides technical assistance, processing and preparing medications and supplies. Works with multiple medication automation systems. Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas. Triages phone calls and messages from multidisciplinary team members. Able to work in complex pharmacy areas (satellites, sterile product compounding, controlled substance handling, inventory management). Prepares supplies / medication, including complex sterile formulations under the direction of a Pharmacist. May prepare hazardous or biologic products when properly trained and competencies are passed. Prepares and packages bulk medications into unit of use packaging. Handles controlled substances for pharmacy and patient care areas under direct supervision of a pharmacist per federal and state law. Delivers pharmacy prepared medications, controlled substances and supplies to various nursing stations/patient care areas. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Maintains all requirements for CPhT certifications. Completes all Spectrum Health assigned competencies by assigned due dates. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Associate's Degree Hospital experience Preferred LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Pharmacy Technician Temp - STATE_MI State of Michigan Must obtain full licensure w/in 90 days of hire.
