Job Summary A Peer Educator is responsible to attend, participate in and assist with development, planning, facilitation and evaluation of youth groups and programs offered by the Beaumont Teen Health Center – Taylor (BTHC-T) These programs include mandatory weekly peer educator training, after-school and summer programs, educational presentations, and community events. Essential Functions Attend Peer Educator Basic Skills Training at BTHC-T Attend weekly Peer Educator Training at BTHC-T Participate in training sessions by asking questions, offering comments, and participating in activities. Demonstrate commitment to program goals by attending training, presentations and programs scheduled to work. Communicate and interact with youth, teens, adults, and prevention staff in effective ways. Represent BTHC-T at events as determined by the Lead Substance Abuse Prevention Counselor/Program Manager. Service Excellence/Patient-Participant Family Care Model. Attend work on schedule.
