Scope of Work                 The position of Medical Physicist involves a variety of wide ranging responsibilities within Diagnostic Radiology including the evaluation, acceptance testing and annual testing of x-ray equipment, the development and overseeing of quality assurance programs, the education of the medical staff, radiology residents and radiation technologists, regulation and compliance, radiation safety, research and development, interaction with vendors and service personnel (both internal and external) and special projects. Coverage and travel between the alternate sites of care is required. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times. Qualifications Master’s degree in physics, Medical Physics, or closely related discipline required. 2 years of relevant experience required CRT-Medical Physics-ABR (American Board of Radiology) Required Upon Hire or CRT-Medical Physics-ABMP (American Board of Medical Physics) Required Upon Hire.
