Partner with the best As a Welder you’ll be required to carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality, and work on your own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant. The role will require the ability to weld many different types of components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs. This position may be required to flex between first and second shift as needed. As a Welder, you will be responsible for: Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications Overlay of components using Tig & MiG per weld procedures Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure Detailing grinding of components after weld repairs Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies Qualifications/Requirements Adhering to Company quality procedures Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) 5+ years of experience in Welding Experience of using foot control tig and MiG machines Experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures Experience of manual TIG Possess good communication skills Work overtime as needed Able to work independently and with others Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
