Partner with the best As a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modeling and data management systems Interfacing with Field, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiency Documenting and sharing lessons learned, with cross functional groups Supporting Manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolution Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance and Cultural pillars Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college 5+ years relevant experience in a Mechanical Engineering role Have experience with 3D CAD systems - eg Siemens NX Be Familiar with product data management systems - eg TeamCenter Have experience with simulations software for Finite Element Analysis & Computational Fluid Dynamics Be able to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations Be familiar with mechanical component designs and applied methods Drive consistent usage of product design standards (and support updates) May be the lead on engineering projects with some functional supervision Fluent in English, for both oral and written Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
