Fuel your passion As a Commodity Manager / Buyer you will be responsible for: Defining and improving Sourcing strategies at business or plant level. This may also include management of regional & business teams. Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field. Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Contributing to projects as a highly motivated team member. To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor’s/Master degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic with experience in procurement or commodity management Show a good experience in Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain English and Italian fluent, both in writing and speaking Excellent communication and influencing skills Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions Positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily Negotiation expertise Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs Availability to travel Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
